Many people now know about manatees and their endangered plight. Most people don't know that Ft. Myers is home to one of the largest populations of wintering manatees in Florida. Our tour boats take visitors on a narrated cruise into a natural manatee and wildlife habitat. Although manatees are seen all year long in Lee County, hundreds of manatees congregate near Manatee and River Tours home during the cooler winter months to feed and stay warm. Our location is also home to many of Florida’s most beautiful native birds, plants, and animals.
